  10. Now that Bill Clinton is President, I noticed that my 9-year-old is
  11. taking a much greater interest in what goes on in Washington.  I think
  12. having campaigned during the election (he was right beside me handing out
  13. brochures and buttons until the zero hour) gives him a sense of
  14. having worked hard for a cause with results.

  16. Also, part of his interest could be because there is a child in the
  17. White House for the first time in his life!  It can be amusing to hear
  18. a youngster's spin on what he thinks the President should or shouldn't do,
  19. and some of it makes such wholesome sense, but it's still evident that
  20. he needs to pay attention in social studies:
