  12. In our newspapers "Bulletin Board" section there was a "cute" (IMHO) story
  13. that goes something like this:

  15. Mother is laying on the couch sick - child is supposed to be napping - 
  16. child brings mother a glass of water - she drinks it - then child asks
  17. if he (or she?????) can bring her another - mother realizing that she has
  18. told child not to climb on the counters asks the child where he got the
  19. water -

  24. "Don't worry mommy, I didn't climb up on the sink - I just got the water 
  25. from the toilet"

  33. When my brother and I were small (2 and 3 - I was 3) we started a fire using
  34. pencils and ciggarette lighters while we were supposed to be napping (and
  35. mom was just recently home from very major surgery and so she was napping too)
  36. we used toilet water to put out the fire - because we weren't allowed on the 
  37. sink either!  Such is life.
