- This reminds me of one of my pet hates:

- Suppose two people join a company on the same day, work equally hard,
- and are equally valued and appreciated. 5 years later the leave on
- the same day. One is leaving to work for another company, the other
- to have a baby. In this country at least, person A will be praised
- and congratulated and told s/he'll be missed. Person B will be
- gossiped and whispered about and someone will no doubt say "that's
- what you get for employing women, they're just not committed".
