I'm very interested in this thread.  As the tired working mom
of a 13 month old, I don't see how I can keep this up in a
couple of years when baby # 2 comes along.  The only women
engineers working part-time were only able to make such an
arrangement after many years of service to the companies.

I'm curious about half-time versus 3 days a week part-time
employment.  The astronomical day-care prices make part-time
unaffordable (you pay full price if you're there at all),
but every other day seems tougher on the Mom.  What do you
think ??

I really like this newsgroup - worth the 2 months it took me
to convince our sysAdm to add it!!
