- My 9 month old Jimmy and I have just learned a new game. I get him interested
- in a small rattle, and then I hid it underneath an upside-down toy pan, and say
- "where did the rattle go?" until Jimmy lifts up the pan and finds the rattle
- and we cheer and cheer, and repeat until he gets bored. The pan and rattle move
- all over: behind my back, etc., and he crawls all around to find it. This
- activity could obviously be done with any hider and hidee.
-
- By the way, the toy pan that we use is from a Fisher Price Activity Pots & Pans,
- which is one of Jimmy's favorite toys. It is rare that a toy will hold his
- attention for any length of time, but this one does.
