- I recently came upon an interesting stock.
- The company is called Insituform -mid america (INSMA)
- current price is 20, p/e 28.
-
- earnings have grown from 10 cents to 75 cents per share in the last 4 years.
- Stock price have climbed nearly 75% in the last 5 months.
- Recently there was 4 for 3 stock split
- Company's business: Using a technology called insituform they form pipes
- inside existing pipe lines (water, sewage, etc.). resin coated polymeric
- tubes are forced into existing pipe lines and hot water is passed thru
- these tubes to cook the resins which then stick to the existing pipe lines.
- No digging, no traffic diversions, etc. The company has little debt and they
- make lot of acquisitions in their respective target areas. The company seems
- to be independent of other Insituform companies trading on the Nasdaq. They
- are also expanding to Europe.
- I thought of buying this stock, but felt 15 or 16 would be good price.
- However i don't want to be left out if its growth prospects are extremely
- good. Do anyone have any further information on this company? Any projections
- on the company and its stock performance appreciated.
