  13. Here are some things I look for when purchasing a stock:

  15. 1.  %ownership by management.
  16. 2.  No political touting (e.g. Ben & Jerrys)
  17. 3.  Increasing sales
  18. 4.  Low historical P/E
  19. 5.  Low long-term debt
  20. 6.  No negative outstanding litigation
  21. 7.  Stable or increasing stock price
  22. 8.  Growing market
  23. 9.  Innovative future products
  24. 10. Low or no yield (I want money reinvested in the company)
