  15. What portfolio management software exists, that can be run
  16. on Unix?  Before I develop my own INGRES-based version I
  17. thought I'd check with the world to see whats already out
  18. there.  Basically i want to:

  20. 1) Log transactions, allowing for splits and partial selling
  21.    of stocks(i.e. sell 100 of the 200 shares I purchased in
  22.    an earlier transaction).

  24. 2) Perform portfolio valuation analyses.
  25.  
  26. 3) Display trend data based upon manually entered quotes.
  27.  
  28. 4) Gain/Loss reports for a given start-date and end-date.
