- I once knew a sucessful author of the Mills and Boon lovey-dovey pulp
- fiction type books. She churned about about four books a year and made
- reasonable money at it. She wrote about 6-8 hours a day. So it was a
- full time job and she made a little bit more money than I do on average.
- She only got paid once every three months and if sales had been slow
- her budget was rather tight for the next three months. It was a living
- but rich she was not.
