- The key here is the 5'2" height of hers. The deadlift is one exercise where
- being short helps. The difference between a short guy and a tall one is the
- starting position. The short guy might have his thighs above parallel while the
- tall guy will have his thighs below parallel. That makes a big difference
- in power. One example that comes to mind is Franco Columbo with
- that - frequently published - photo of him deadlifting 740lbs with ease.
