- Thanks, Jennifer, for posting these. Question: what does "ideal" mean
- in this case, and why should it rise as age increases? Do older people
- _need_ more bodyfat for some reason? Is there some inevitable correlate
- of aging which produces this effect, as there seems to be in some other
- instances of body functions which change with age? Or is this simply a
- reflection of the fact that many people change their diet and activity
- levels with age, so that it is more _unusual_ to see a 50-year-old
- with 10% bodyfat than a 25-year-old? If the latter, then is this
- really an ideal?

- And while I'm being querulous, I'm not sure that these really represent
- the ideals which many of us here are working toward: I know I look a lot
- better at under 10%, and while it's hard to achieve and maintain, if
- we're talking about ideals ...
