  13. My 40g natural gas water heater has suddenly developed a very
  14. small leak from its top.
  15.  
  16. Where the white (fiberglass?) part meets the grey metal round
  17. "lid" part, I have a very slow water leak.  Like one drop every
  18. few seconds.  It drips down the front of the water heater.
  19.  
  20. There is no obvious (to me) fix for this; everything seems tight.
  21.  
  22. Anyone out there have an idea what this is and how to fix it?
  23. Or do I have to bite the bullet and call a plumber?
