  12. I am cleaning up the basement and am ready to do something with the
  13. concrete floor in the utility portion.  There is already hints of
  14. erosion in the high traffic area.  I am wondering if I should patch
  15. these areas, or will floor paint hold up for awhile?  I read the
  16. instructions on a gallon of floor paint, and it talked about etching
  17. the surface with a 10% muriatic acid solution.  When and why would 
  18. etching be necessary?

  20. I think I saw something about a FAQ list regarding wet basements.  
  21. Where is that list?  I am specifically interested in the 'weep holes
  22. and epoxied baseboard method' at this time.
