- Hello
- For some unknown reason ispell stoped working for me in emacs.
- when I run any of the emacs ispell commands I get the following
- message in my mini buffer "writing to process: invalid argument ispel"
- I notice that I also get the following message in the cmdtool I used
- to start emacs from "Fatal error (1)". ispell seems to work fine if I
- use it from a cmdtool or xterm
-
- also I can not seem to get ispell to work from an emacs-shell? I get some message about "Screen too small: need at least 10 lines"
-
-
- I am running gnuemacs 18.58 on a sun sparc station 2 with openwindows.
- I do not know if this is part of the problem or not, but I installed a
- new version of my OS yesterday.
-
- I do not know what version of ispel.el i am using (it says something
- about ported to ispel version 3.0) Sorry but I also do not know the exact version of ispell I am using. (I do not have access to the source code)
-
-
- thanks in advance
- Andy
