  15.     For some unknown reason ispell stoped working for me in emacs.
  16. when I run any of the emacs ispell commands I get the following
  17. message in my mini buffer "writing to process: invalid argument ispel"
  18. I notice that I also get the following message in the cmdtool I used
  19. to start emacs from "Fatal error (1)". ispell seems to work fine if I
  20. use it from a cmdtool or xterm

  22. also I can not seem to get ispell to work from an emacs-shell? I get some message about "Screen too small:  need at least 10 lines"

  25. I am running gnuemacs 18.58 on a sun sparc station 2 with openwindows.
  26. I do not know if this is part of the problem or not, but I installed a
  27. new version of my OS yesterday.

  29. I do not know what version of ispel.el i am using (it says something
  30. about ported to ispel version 3.0) Sorry but I also do not know the exact version of ispell I am using. (I do not have access to the source code)
