- GNUS2 can retrieve, sort and thread approx 500 articles in 47 seconds
- (on a sun 3/60). The same process with Gnus3.14 takes close to 7
- minutes (both using NOV spool access to get the articles). I believe
- the threading is better also. GNUS2 doesn't orphan articles whose
- parents have expired, for example.
