  22. I have never found the current operation of "C-q" in overwrite mode
  23. useful.  I always end up follow up the quoted-insert command with a
  24. "C-d".

  26. On the other hand, its never bothered me enough to bind another
  27. command or hack quoted insert either.  (I doubt I'd ever save the
  28. keystrokes spend in making the changes. ;-))
