  27. No.  The Ultra has both the 8514 and SVGA chipsets.  XFree86 has support
  28. for the ATI SVGA, so that's what you're getting.

  41. At some point (don't ask me when) the functionality of XS3 and X8514 will
  42. be fully merged with XFree86.  A large group of people from several
  43. disjoint development groups are coming together to get this done.  As
  44. many (most?) of these people are students, I expect that things will be 
  45. slow until summer (this is what we witnessed last year).
