- I am fairly certain that these cards will function with X on a PC, as long as
- you use the XS3 server which is available by anonymous ftp from
- ftp.robots.ox.ac.uk in /pub/Linux/S3 the server is also available for 386BSD.
- Get the latest version (0.3.1 or the ALPHA-0.4) to avoid hassles. 0.4 under
- Linux requires the libc.4.2 jump libraries, I believe, but is otherwise very
- similar to 0.3.1, which fixed bugs in 0.2b and 0.3 affecting S3 cards with the
- 801 chip.
