- Can anyone offer a quanitative comparison of the speed at which the
- two MacIntosh X window emulators, MacX and Exodus, draw graphics? Or
- point to a magazine that may have made such a comparison?
- We have a workstation running MATRIXx on an Ethernet and have 2 workstations
- and about 10 Macs which will connect to it. Having only tried Exodus,
- we only get satisfactory drawing speeds from our Mac IIfx. Our IIci's and
- Mac II's are rather pokey. Obviously a $2000 CPU upgrade will solve the
- problem, but a $200 switch to MacX would be a cheaper alternative.
