  12. Would someone explain to me why I got the below error and how to fix it:

  14. $  rsh zippy /usr/bin/X11/xterm -d $DISPLAY
  15. t_connect failed: An event requires attention
  16. T_DISCONNECT received
  17. Error: Can't Open display

  19. I also tried to rlogin to zippy, set the DISPLAY, and /usr/bin/X11/xterm &
  20. but I got the same error. I have .rhosts files on both machines that
  21. contain the same information as below:

  23. $ xhost
  24. Host Access Control disabled.
  25. zippy
  26. ncd-tma

  29. Note that if i do non-x commands like ls, pwd, etc... then it works fine.
  30. The 2 machines are 386DX33, running ESIX 4.0.4 and X11R4.
