  14. As part of an xview application that I am writing I would like to include a
  15. journalling facility.  That is, a facility which records all of the events produced
  16. by the user since they last saved their file.   This would then give the ability 
  17. to reconstruct a diagram in the event of power failure, (or perish-the-thought,
  18. core dumps ).

  20. I know it can be done because DecWrite does a very similar thing.  Has anyone
  21. had any experience of this sort of thing?  Am I re-inventing the wheel?  If I were to
  22. code this from scratch what events should I look for (my application is essentially a drawing 
  23. package).
