- Yep. And this is what finally made me drop Dell and go with
- ODT2.0 for chinet. Needed the CD-ROM mounted reliably.
- SOSS, OS/2 and Novell as CD-ROM servers all left something
- to be desired. So, installed ODT, grabbed /bin/passwd, /bin/login
- and /usr/bin/passmgmt off an old version of AT&T sysvr3
- and removed /tcb and all the auth nonsense. I was able to
- re-compile the over 100 megs of stuff in /usr/local/bin with just
- a few problems With 32 megs of memory on a 486/33, it makes a nice
- multiuser system.
- With mountable CDROMS yet!
