  11. The answer to my query of the other day seems to be
  12. to use the latest version of dvips.  Where can I
  13. obtain this?  Is it proprietary or in the public
  14. domain?  Until now I have been using DVILASER/PS
  15. Sun Version 6.3.1 by ArborText, Inc.  The folks at
  16. ArborText do not have a product for handling color,
  17. nor do they plan one.

  19. Incidentally, I have already made color slides from
  20. PostScript code, and the results were very good.  The
  21. PostScript for those slides, which are graphs rather
  22. than text, was produced by S-Plus version 3.1.
  23. Unfortunately S-Plus does not have very extensive or
  24. sophisticated text-handling routines, although it
  25. does make beautiful graphics.
