- INITEX splain,
- and make sure that the font definition file
- sfonts.tex and latex.tex are in a place where TeX can find them.

- (Some implementations differ from this though: Sometimes you run Tex/I;
- with Textures on my Mac I just have toopen splain.tex and click Typeset.)
