  12. How is it possible to simulate a black-and-white X server on a color
  13. screen? Some options are described for the xnews server, but they
  14. don't work. E.g.: xnews -dev /dev/cgsix0 grayvis staticvis defdepth 8
  15. gives me a nice grayscale server, without any color, but what I would
  16. like to do is: xnews -dev /dev/cgsix0 grayvis staticvis defdepth 1
  17. and that, as much as any other attempt, for example by setting the
  18. device to something else, just fails.
  19. Any hints or ideas are greatly appreciated.
