- The 173105-byte version is RFC 1060. A more up-to-date version is RFC
- 1340; you can get that from various archives of RFCs, including the
- master one at "nic.ddn.mil".

- However, even RFC 1340's list of Ethernet vendor address components
- doesn't have as many vendors as does the listing mentioned in the other
- posting in this thread, i.e. the "EtherNet-codes" file from
- "lcs.mit.edu".

- The "Assigned Numbers" RFC, though, has more than just Ethernet vendor
- numbers, so it may be worth getting in any case....
