- Here's the kick: You're going to need to talk TCP/IP between them no
- matter what you do.

- If you can't get an IP number from the university network admin people
- you're going to need to sset up an isolated subnet. There are a few ways
- you can go about this. You can get a second ethernet board for the IPX,
- this will be fast, but too expensive to be worth the effort (on top of
- that, you'd have to make space in the IPX for the board, and I have no
- idea if you have any free SBUS slots...).

- Or you could do the same thing ver serial lines with SLIP, CSLIP or PPP.
- This will work, the software for SPIL and PPP can be had free, but it will
- be REALLY painfull to run that way, and will grind both machines into the
- dirt with excess interrupt processing.
