- We're going to have a meeting with some of the mucky-mucks at Sun, and
- we may be able to convince them that the current situation with their
- SunOS 5.x license manager isn't really workable in a University
- environment. They would like to hear what's wrong with it.
-
- We're wondering what administrative plans, setup, mechanisms, etc.
- other universities and educational institutions (i.e., places with a
- ScholarPAK site license) have for managing the SunOS 5.x licenses. If
- your site is setting things up to manage the paperwork and licenses
- for the SunOS 5.x license managed products, we need to hear how you're
- going to do it. Also feel free to tell us what problems,
- difficulties, extra work, etc. you expect to encounter managing
- licenses.
-
- Please try to be specific and detailed; flaming and foaming at the
- mouth isn't likely to give us much ammunition to get them to fix
- things.
-
- Thanks in advance!
