- Maybe this is not the right newsgroup, anyway ....
-
- Problem: I want to telnet to some cpu on the network, but I don't
- remember exactly the node name. I vaguely remeber it is at the
- Astronomical observatory of Torino. So I'd like to ask to a nameserver
- in Torino a list of the domains it knows (I could then argue from the
- domain name which is the one I'm looking for: it should be named "astro"
- or something like it). Saying it in different words I'd like to browse
- the list of domain names known to some nameserver. When I've got the domain
- name I can use nslookup to query for host names, but until I have the
- domain name available nslookup will not accept a query (or else I wasn't
- able to convince it to give me that information).
-
- Is there anybody around who knows how to do that??
