- I have recently noticed a steady increase in Ierrs on my Indigo R3000
- base system running 4.0.5. The current numbers (from netstat -i)
- are:
-
- Name Mtu Network Address Ipkts Ierrs Opkts Oerrs Coll
- ec0 1500 137.35.4 beaker 79480471 51522 800730 0 88765
- lo0 32880 loopback localhost 2243977 0 2243977 0 0
-
- The Ierrs are growing -- as much as 500-600 an hour. My questions are:
- Is this a problem, and if so whose (mine, the local networks, or what?).
- Other systems (4D310s) on the segment do not have so many errors.
-
- Any ideas? Thanks....
