  13. hi, everyone:
  14. we are going to connect our sgi 4d/35 to university netnwork. the network 
  15. manager ask us to give him the ethernet address of our workstation. 
  16. my question is :

  18. 1) Where should I find out the ether net address, i checked /etc/ethers and
  19. /usr/etc/ethers, /usr/etc/hosts, nothing is there except IP address and 
  20. hostname.
  21.  
  22. 2) Is there any utility in the unix that give me ethernet address ?
