  23. Yea, make sure that you only have ONE xdm running for the server, in
  24. this case your console.  I had this very problem with one of our
  25. X-terminals.  This is a very nice example of a race condition and every
  26. now and then one of them (xdm) wins.

  28. Note, there should be one xdm for each Xserver connection so don't kill
  29. all the xdm's :-)
