  19. I sympathize with your frustration, but it is always wise to check the
  20. too common "logic" of "I can't make it work, so it never worked."  Weak
  21. programmers tend to make an analogous mistake, "thinking" along the
  22. lines of "I don't understand how it works, so it never worked, and so
  23. it must be rewritten from scratch without understanding what the other
  24. code was trying to do."
