  15. I have a quick question. Maybe that hasn't to do with the IRIS itself
  16. but it occurs on an Iris, so maybe someone can help.

  18. On a Sun I have a command colrm, that allows me to delete the characters
  19. up to a certain position. On the Iris this doesn't work. It says
  20. 'Command not found'. Do you know what an equivalent command would be?

  22. The concrete example is:

  24.     set prompt="`hostname|colrm 3`> "
  25.  
  26. I want to have only the first two characters from the hostname as a prompt.
