- Hi!
-
- I have a quick question. Maybe that hasn't to do with the IRIS itself
- but it occurs on an Iris, so maybe someone can help.
-
- On a Sun I have a command colrm, that allows me to delete the characters
- up to a certain position. On the Iris this doesn't work. It says
- 'Command not found'. Do you know what an equivalent command would be?
-
- The concrete example is:
-
- set prompt="`hostname|colrm 3`> "
-
- I want to have only the first two characters from the hostname as a prompt.
-
- Thanks,
-
- Peter
-
- PS Please answer by mail!
