- Fellows netters,
-
- I have been updating our machines with the new DOSUP6 and
- WINUP7 files, and generally speaking everything has gone
- well.
-
- The only real problem seems to be with the new NWPOPUP.EXE
- and NETWARE.DRV files. I have installed them as specified,
- and I have created an INI called NETWARE.INI, and have inserted
- the apropriate lines. However, on booting up Windows I can not
- seem to get the F6 key to bring up a menu. I've inserted
- NWPOPUP.EXE in the Load= line, but when I do a task check, it
- does not seem to be running. If I receive any mail, an alert
- box appears, so I presume that I must be doing something right!
-
- What is the NETWARE.INI file for, and what usually creates it?
- Should I be in SUPERVISOR mode to get access to the menu?
- Is the menu really worth all this trouble ??
-
- Thanks in anticipation,
- Dave
