  24. Windows for Workgroups and Netware coexist without any problems.  Your
  25. software dealer is terribly uninformed.

  27. Windows for Workgroups works much better than Lantastic+Windows.  One catch
  28. you want to look out for, however, is that in order for a workstation to
  29. share its resources (like your faculty member's machine), it must be able to
  30. run in Windows enhanced mode.  This means you need a 386sx or better with
  31. 2 Mb RAM or (hopefully) more.

  47. NetWare Lite 1.1 is a bigger pain in the neck to integrate with Netware 3.11
  48. than Windows for Workgroups or Lantastic.  Its features, performance, and
  49. Windows support are all below average.

  51. I've used all three of the products in various configurations.  I would
  52. GUESS (all I can do, without knowing specifics of your situation) that
  53. WfWG would be your best bet.

  55. Oh, yeah, I forgot the obvious: if you don't expect to use Windows primarily,
  56. then WfWG is probably the wrong choice.  Go with Lantastic.
