  11. To The Point:  I work for a Novell reseller who, up till now, has only
  12. worked in DOS only environments.  Now, we have two days to prepare a
  13. bid on a system involving DOS, Macs, and a Sun Workstation.  What
  14. I'm interested in is any advice or rule-of-thumb documents (or any
  15. other ftp'able documents that will help) on the following subjects.
  16.  
  17. 1:  The current state of Mac-to-Netware interconnectivity.  Last time
  18. I checked, it required a dedicated 'router'.  I'm pretty sure that 
  19. 3.11 now has NLM's that will handle this, but I need to find out for
  20. sure, and find out what the memory and other requirements are.
  21.  
  22. 2:  Same for NFS interconnectivity, emphasis on WS accessing Novell
  23. FS, but also interested in other machines accessing the Sun WS.
  24.  
  25. 3:  Removable SCSI drives.  Due to onsite security regulations, it
  26. will be necessary to secure the FS hard drive in a safe.  How well
  27. does 3.11 handle removable media?  I understand that 4.0 does, but I'd
  28. like to be able to know what can be done with what is out now.
