  11. I tried to respond directly but it returned saying the user id
  12. was invalid.

  14. I had this problem a couple of months ago and received the following
  15. reply from Jon Hall in Pommie Land (j.m.hall@soton.ac.uk)

  17. There are two things you can do, and you can implement them either 
  18. of two ways. The first is to turn off the virtual memory, the second
  19. is to force the swap file to a writable disk.
  20.  
  21. 1. Change to the MATLAB\BIN directory
  22.    enter the command CFIG386 MAT386.EXE -novn 
  23.                   or CFIG386 MAT386.EXE -swapdir c:\path
  24.    where c:\path is a writable disk drive\directory. NB - this 
  25.    should not end in a backslash.
  26.    (You may want to make a backup of MAT386.EXE)

  28. 2. Another way is to set a DOSX variable.
  29.       SET DOSX=-novm
  30.    or SET DOSX=c:\path

  33. I have only tried the first method of changing the executable. It
  34. works fine.
