- I'm on a committee whose purpose (among others) is to establish
- some standards with regard to testing hardware (prior to purchase,
- mainly workstations, and miscellaneous boards)). We've had some bad
- experiences with incompatiblities (hardware/hardware and
- hardware/software bothin the past. We're rapidly expanding the
- number of Lans at our site and need some way of evaluting new
- boards/NLMs/workstations etc.
-
- 1. Has anyone out there down this? If so, any tips?
-
- 2. Does anyone know where we can lay our hands on a good suite of
- cheap (if not free) benchmark/torture tests
-
- 3. Does anyone have any feelings about whether we'll be saving
- ourselves any effort by thouroughly testing prior to installation?
-
- Thanks in advance for any info....
