  12. During installation of Netware 2.2 (10 user) on my Gateway 2000 486-50
  13. (8 MB ram and 2 - 120MB Hard Drives, 3C503 card) I progressed through
  14. creating the network software but when it went to configure it I received
  15. the following message:

  17.    ABEND:  Improper ROM parameter table for DISK controller
  18.  
  19. I was using the basic installation and I tried to install it once with the
  20. server as dedicated and once as non-dedicated.  It has been suggested to 
  21. purchase the DISK MANAGER - NOVELL software and it should alleviate my 
  22. ABEND problem.  The only problem I have is that my Dean doesn't want to part
  23. with $125.  If anyone has any suggestions, please e-mail me at the address
