  13. I've got a Folder From Hell, and I can't find the FAQ list for this
  14. newsgroup.

  16. I've tried a number of simple things, like Disk First Aid, Norton
  17. Utilities, and trying to replace it with a folder of the same name.
  18. Awhile back someone posted a way to search the disk for the folder
  19. name followed by 0010 0000 XXXX, and replace the XXXX with 0000,
  20. but this was in 1990 (pre-System 7), and I'm not sure if I dare try
  21. this under System 7 -- any comments?

  23. I'm not all that surprised Apple hasn't fixed this problem yet, but
  24. I am a little surprised that Norton Disk Doctor doesn't take care
  25. of it.

  27. Somewhere there must be a FAQ listing the dozens of things people
  28. have tried to trash the Folder From Hell.  Can someone please point
  29. me to it?
