- There's probably a good reason for that: folders are not files on a Mac.

- No. They are in an invisible file in the folder. On my Mac it's called
- "Symbol", but it's a Danish system. US and other systems may differ.
- The file only exists when the folder has a custom icon. You can see it
- from ResEdit's standard file dialog.

- For fun, try to delete the file and then try to paste a new icon in
- "Get Info". With the Danish system 7.0.1 this produced a totally
- ungrammatical and not entirely incomprehensible error message.
