- This occurs when you have shut your modem off prior to shutting down
- the machine. ARA attempts to reset the modem so it will NOT answer
- calls. Eventually it time outs on this attempt and the shutdown proceeds.
- Another interesting bug is when ARA fails to gain control of the modem
- upon it's release by the terminal package ect. In this case sometimes a
- shutdown or restart attempt will actually hang the machine. The only
- way to recover this is to manually reset.
