  19. This occurs when you have shut your modem off prior to shutting down
  20. the machine.  ARA attempts to reset the modem so it will NOT answer
  21. calls.  Eventually it time outs on this attempt and the shutdown proceeds.
  22. Another interesting bug is when ARA fails to gain control of the modem
  23. upon it's release by the terminal package ect.  In this case sometimes a
  24. shutdown or restart attempt will actually hang the machine.  The only
  25. way to recover this is to manually reset.
