  13. PictPixie will do this but it is buggy and slow and has a horrible user
  14. interface. You can get it from ftp.apple.com in directory
  15. dts/mac/something_or_other (quicktime or image or suchlike.) 
  16. There is a much nicer version of pictPixie called pictCompressor on the
  17. QT1.5 CD but it's not free to distribute.
  18. Photoshop also does this.
