  17. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you are interested in, but as it is
  18. marginally useful information anyway, I will relate it:

  20. The shareware program "FileTyper 3.2" will let you modify certain attributes
  21. of files, folders, and volumes, such as type/creater and invisibile file bits.
  22.  When I open my hard drive with FileTyper, one of the checkboxes given is
  23. "Name Locked or IsSystem".  After checking the box the name of the volume
  24. can't be changed.  Hope that helped someone.
