- It can be done but you need to be creative. What I did was take a copy of
- the system and just start deleting away things that are unimportant in it
- with Resedit. There is a installer script that will do this automatically
- on sumex, but you can just hack it yourself if you need just an emergency
- startup disk. Take out the error strings, color icons, etc until you get
- it down. I have a disk that has the system, finder and even the file
- sharing/appleshare stuff on it (this is esential if you have a DuoDock
- without a seperate hard drive).

- it will serve your purpose of a emergency startup disk.
