  12. Select the image. Enlarge vertically and horizontally by 500% (ensuring
  13. that you are in 8 bit mode and in grayscale)
  14. Change mode to '1 bit' mode.
  15. It dithers for a while.
  16. Print to stylewriter at a setting of 20%.
  17. Voila.

  21. The newer SWII drivers though, seem to do a pretty darn good job at
  22. grayscale as well, so that should eliminate the need to do it through
  23. GifConverter.

  25. However, GifConverter is better (in my opinion) because you can reduce the
  26. gamma down to about .5 (.7 is my personal preference) because the SW's
  27. ink is so black...thus the image comes out more or less approximating
  28. what is on a grayscale screen and not so dark.
