- The reason is the same as the reason computers are cheaper via some sellers
- than others --- it's all about quantity. Schools that sell huge amounts of
- Macs can certainly afford to sell them for a lot less. Illinois, for example,
- is supposedly trying to cut a deal with Apple and the other campus vendors
- where if the University takes a route where they encourage students to buy
- their own computer, the vendors will promise to give them lower prices.
