- I don't think you've missed anything. In mirroring mode, the external
- monitor displays exactly the same thing as the PB screen - no more, no
- less. Same number of pixels horizontally and vertically. If the external
- monitor has room for more pixels, well, the extra ones don't get used. If,
- on the other hand, you use the external monitor in non-mirroring mode,
- you'll find that you get a full screen (and much faster updates, since it's
- not drawing the same thing on two screens simultaneously). This is not
- much help for presentations, though, unless you can see both screens and
- put the presentation output on the external monitor and the presentation
- control on the PB screen.
