- I discovered an easier way to get the duo trackball out, and I thought
- I might pass it long. The manual says to turn the retainer ring
- counterclockwise and then lift the ball out. For the life of me, I
- couldn't get a good enough grip on the ring to turn it.
-
- My solution was to increase the coefficient of friction by using a
- strip of rubber to grip the trackball retainer ring. I found a fairly
- wide rubber-band, and used it to grip the ring. The thing turned fairly
- easily with this crude device. Hope this was helpful.
