  12.    I discovered an easier way to get the duo trackball out, and I thought
  13. I might pass it long.  The manual says to turn the retainer ring
  14. counterclockwise and then lift the ball out.  For the life of me, I
  15. couldn't get a good enough grip on the ring to turn it.

  17.    My solution was to increase the coefficient of friction by using a
  18. strip of rubber to grip the trackball retainer ring.  I found a fairly
  19. wide rubber-band, and used it to grip the ring.  The thing turned fairly
  20. easily with this crude device.  Hope this was helpful.
